My Build Log

 Platform section made using the 2x2 grid system for game asset creation, I've done this because i wanted to be able to more easily tile my geometry to create the wall of the room
 HVAC pipes, water system and Gas mains(on Pandora cleaning the Air and Water would be very important) I have made a feature of these pipes to emphasis their importance in the structure.
 Upper Walkway
Walkway has LED strip lighting as this is a low light area to save on power usage in the water treatment plant. Also I have decided on the function for the room it will be a area for large water cleaning machines that keep the base of Hellgate in freash drinkable water on the human hostile planet of Pandora.

Research 

My Aim is to create a semi underground section of the base in the movie Avatar, the base is known as Hellgate and most of my research has come from 3 main books, First being the Art of Halo 4, second is The Art Of Avatar and the last is the Art of the Mass Effect series.




My sketches will focus on finding a sense of massive scale and darkness.
